Weiland’s promotes local cheesemakers and has a variety of their cheeses from across the state. You’ll find cheeses from Urban Stead (Cincinnati), Blue Jacket Dairy (Bellefontaine), Kokoborrego (Mt Gilead), Marchant Manor (Cleveland Heights), Saint Anne’s Cheeses (Dayton), Paint Valley Farms (Beach City), and Snowville (Pomeroy). We are always looking for new products from local cheesemakers!

Our Cheese Case

We work hard to stock our shelves with all the popular cheese trends, plus new offerings, world championship winners, and special seasonally produced cheeses.

Cheddar Young, vintage, and aged cheddars from across the United States and Canada, Great Britain, and Australia.

Gouda Flavored and aged Goudas, including Marieke Farmstead cheese (Wisconsin.)

Hard & Grana (Grating) We carry 18-24 month Parmigiano Reggiano, Grana Padano, Piave, Pecorino Romano, as well as Grand Parmesan from Wisconsin. We also have Parmigiano rinds for soup-making!

Bri & Bloomy Rind Brie rounds in varying sizes from mini to 8 ounces. Our shelves are full of double crème and triple crème cheeses. Try our decadent Caramel Brie, with caramel sauce, dried fruits, and toasted almonds. Available in the cheese case, or for larger quantities, order through our Catering to Go.

Blue Blue cheeses from around the world; Stilton, Gorgonzola, cave-aged Roquefort, Point Reyes, Maytag, and Danish Blue.

Fresh Cheese Weiland’s handmade mozzarella, marinated mozzarella, quark from Blue Jacket Dairy, and many fresh goat and sheep cheeses. Locally-made fresh sheep and goat cheeses are only available during the warmer months.

Alpine World winners; Hornbacher, Emmentaler, Raclette, Appenzeller, and Gruyere. Great for fondue.

American Classics An extensive collection of Colby and Pepper Jack from smaller cheesemakers; Guggisberg, Bread, Farmers and Brick Cheese, Castello Havarti, and Sartori Bellavitano.

Crumbles & Spreads Crumbled and grated cheeses including Parmigiano Reggiano from Italy, ogat, feta, and blue cheese from Carr Valley. Spreadable cheese from Merkt’s and Owl’s Creek, plus unique flavors from Sartori, Urban Stead, and Di Bruno Brothers.

Aromatic Washed rind cheeses including Taleggio, cave-aged Gruyere, and Limburger.

Charcuterie & More

We have everything you need to compliment your cheese and charcuterie board. We stock Salames, Chorizo, Pancetta, and Prosciutto (including those made by Foris Meats from Columbus,) house-made rosemary almonds, a wide array of packaged olives, nuts, antipasti, meat pates, grade-A fois gras, fruit spreads & jams, stuffed grape leaves, and Stan Evans Bakery flatbread crackers.

Charcuterie and cheese platters are available by special order. We can customize the platters for your event. We require at least 48 hours’ notice for all orders. See our Catering to Go menu for more info.
